We have recently concluded the steering committee meeting of the dAIbetes_HorizonEurope project, an exceptional meeting that took place at the Biological Labs of Harvard University in Boston.
Over two days of productive meetings with project partners, we assessed the progress made over the past 18 months of research and multidisciplinary collaboration. We’ve reaffirmed that virtual patient twins represent a transformative step in healthcare, improving prediction accuracy by at least 10% over standard models and enabling personalized care for diabetes and other diseases. The use of large language models (LLMs) accelerates and streamlines research in various areas, including data preprocessing and subsequent validation studies. The integration of technological advancements is essential, and our mission as Egnosis is to deliver a market-ready, validated solution for the project. This meeting equipped us with valuable strategic input in this regard.
“From Sepsiszentgyörgy to Harvard. A journey of sixteen years. We started together, Sándor, and our enthusiasm for technology shows no sign of weakening. The world around us is a high-speed race, and technological expectations placed on us require quick adaptation and responsiveness. We’ve come a long way, and we’ve just presented our ideas and results at Harvard in Boston, supporting the dAIbetes bioinformatics breakthrough research project. Time and common successes have proven our development strategy, as the results speak for themselves. I firmly believe that no matter how much we automate, humans have a place alongside AI in shaping new technological horizons — humankind is designed for team-oriented work. This is our strength, the key to our success: colleagues, not resources. Thank you, Egnosis.” – Béla Bihari, general manager
