Egnosis has recognized the inherent challenge in research, its need, and its benefits. Our mission is to encourage expatriate researchers to return home and engage them in bioinformatics projects with competitive salaries.

Currently, we have three running projects – FeatureCloud, Repo4EU and AIDAVA– and more exciting challenges are around the corner.

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Researchers to join our team for Horizon Europe-funded projects in bioinformatics and systems medicine. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing distributed systems, back-end frameworks programming, and containerization using Docker.

We would like you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in developing distributed IT systems using REST APIs, and Docker-based containerization
• Experience in the healthcare domain is advantageous
• Strong programming skills with back-end frameworks, preferably Python, Go, or .NET
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with people from other domains
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
