At Egnosis, spring awakens with a Snowdrop Tour on Bodoc Peak — a long-standing tradition that strengthens the bond within the team and with nature.
When March arrives, we lace up our hiking boots, pack homemade treats, put on our sunglasses, and venture into the wild to find snowdrops, delicate heralds of the eagerly awaited spring. This cherished company tradition unites colleagues, their families, and children for a joyful day outdoors. Though the hike is easy on paper, muddy paths, big scary bearfoots, and gusty winds can turn it into a real adventure.
This year, a record number of children took part, making it not only an outward journey for us but also an inner one — as we rediscovered what it means to push boundaries, stay persistent, and believe in the power of motivation and storytelling. We assure you these are not only marketing buzzwords, they really count – count for our children, and count for us as coworkers as well, as summit pushes happen quite often in our projects, too. We are at the forefront of innovation in every project we undertake — and not by chance.
The reward is always worth it.
- First, you have the accomplishment of having done it. And having done it together.
- Then, you have the reward of the fresh-baked bacon with crispy onions and that soft, homemade bread you’ll only ever taste in Transylvania. And of course, a splash of “palinca” adds to the delight.
- And finally, when you are almost leaving the summit, you spot her. The first snowdrop. Then you make a few more steps, and there they are – an entire hillside with tiny, fragile snowdrops, which only makes the already breathtaking landscape even more beautiful.
